Ryan McElroy popped up in the closing moments to hand Markethill Swifts the upper hand over Laurelvale.

McElroy converted Neil Shaw’s cross, with the latter having levelled thanks to a delicate finish off Aaron Thornbury’s pass.

Laurelvale grabbed the first goal, courtesy of Stephen Whitten’s penalty. Johnny Hamilton’s half-volley handed Laurelvale another promising sight of goal but the Swifts finished flying high.
