Portadown Youth’s Scott Megaw wrapped up a 2-0 win for the County Armagh Premier boys against Otago Academy.
Megaw increased the lead provided by Caolan Marron’s penalty kick during an assured performance.
“Otago from New Zealand play a similar style of football and we managed to match them in terms of the physical stuff,” said Dean McCullough, chairman of the County Armagh Milk Cup Association. “We were in control overall and Scott’s goal came off some great skill in the box.”
Portadown Youth’s Mark Johnston, Scott Megaw, Patrick McPartland, Adam Metcalfe and Nedas Maciulaitis featured for County Armagh. Loughgall Youth’s Ross Wilson was also in action - with Conor Larkin another player on show from the area.
