Portadown officials recorded figures hitting the 1,000 mark from the opening morning of Irish Cup final ticket sales on Saturday.
The club shop remains open tonight (Friday) from 6-9 o’clock plus next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on the same times - along with all day tomorrow (Saturday).
Timings, if required, will be confirmed for next Friday and Saturday based on demand.
“There was a great response and a real buzz around the place, with fans in line from 7.45 on Saturday morning,” said Portadown club secretary Bill Emerson. “I am expecting the final delivery of 500 tickets before this weekend.
“Supporters have also been taking advantage of our opening times to stock up on hats, scarves and tee-shirts designed to celebrate the cup final appearance.
“It is about giving fans the best chance possible to grab a ticket and help make the day a great occasion for the club.”
Match tickets cost £15 (stand), £12 (terracing) and £8 (concession).
Supporters’ clubs have been working hard since the semi-final win to organise transportplans for the May 2 match - with bus seats booked in advance.
