Portadown face two crucial dates within the next week towards moving the club forward on and off the pitch.
Pat McGibbon, the Ports boss, has a meeting scheduled with the Board of Directors before this weekend to discuss player status.
Club representatives will face the Irish Football Association disciplinary committee on Wednesday, June 8 to discuss an issue regarding player Peter McMahon.
“I have been waiting on issues to be addressed to move forward with signing players,” said McGibbon. “We hope to have these sorted after meeting with the Board of Directors.”
Garry Breen, Ross Redman and Chris Casement have each requested to be placed on the transfer list - with only the latter confirmed as available to offers from rivals clubs.
Ongoing issues have also disrupted McGibbon’s bid to sign players.
The club’s Open Day has been confirmed for Saturday, July 23. That date will mark the return of the Shamrock Lotto, with around £4,500 in the jackpot.
