Portadown signed off on the pre-season campaign with a 4-0 derby victory over Annagh United at Tandragee Road.

Gary Twigg’s early double, a Sean Mackle effort and Peter McMahon close-range finish handed Ronnie McFall’s men the latest win of the friendly schedule.

Jake Richardson continued his impressive summer form with an assist that Twigg met inside the penalty area to break the deadlock.

Twigg then reacted first to convert a loose ball after Darren Murray’s header bounced off the post.

Mackle curled home a delightful shot from distance and McMahon wrapped up the victory by turning home John Gibson’s delivery.

Annagh had experienced Irish League goalkeeper Stuart Addis in nets as a guest due to Marc Robinson’s injury and the unavailability of Ciaran Fox.
