Ross Redman has confirmed plans to leave hometown club Portadown after over a decade on the Shamrock Park books.
The full-back posted a message on his Facebook page explaining the decision.
“After a lot of thought I have decided not to take the additional year of my contract at Portadown FC and will leave the club this summer,” it stated. “I have spent 12 years at Portadown and would like to thank the staff, fans and players at the club.
“I have enjoyed every minute playing for my hometown club but feel that it is the right time of my career to move on.
“I wish everyone at Portadown FC the best in the future.”
