Positive push by Ports

Defeat during Tuesday’s test against Ards confirmed the drop for the Ports within a troubled year but Currie wants to close out the campaign in positive form.

Glentoran can also point to a season of struggles but boss Gary Haveron is determined to deliver over the final two games.

“Six points must be the aim and we know the fans have had little to cheer this season home or away,” said Haveron. “Injury problems continue and have disrupted our whole season, with the inability to field a settled side a major problem.”
