Richhill recover to claim away win

Five separate scorers secured full points for Tandragee Rovers against Lurgan BBOB in Mid-Ulster Reserve League Division One.

Goals from Dean McCammon, Cecil Corbett, Neil Anderson, Dean Singleton and Ian Walker left Rovers in front by 5-3.

James Boyd bagged a brace in Mid-Ulster Reserve League Division Two as Markethill Swifts put five goals past Laurelvale.

Matty Black, Steven Cully and Neal Bradshaw were also on target for the Swifts - Gary Hunniford netting a consolation in the 5-1 fixture.

Richhill battled back from an early deficit to end Moneyslane’s unbeaten record.

Strong defensive play kept the Villagers in contention before Johnny Allen converted a Michael Dobbs pass courtesy of a deflection.

Dobbs then put Richhill into the lead after good work by Alistair Dodds and Sam Keys for a 2-1 win.

Dobbs, Sam Nellins and Glenn Spence were Richhill’s leading players.

Richhill Swifts progressed past Banbridge YCOB reserves in the Lonsdale League Cup courtesy of a penalty shoot-out success.

Peter Grimley and James McKendry put Richhill in front before a 2-2 tally forced spot-kicks, with Justin Cully grabbing the crucial penalty.
