Sky Sports to broadcast Google film on Portadown

It is going to be a super Sunday for Portadown Youth this weekend - with Sky Sports to broadcast a Google film that will beam the football club’s story into millions of homes.

The documentary about how Portadown Youth’s Gary Magee and Glen Traynor used a Google Translate app to communicate with Spain-born Alberto Balde will feature as part of the Sky Sports half-time coverage during the Manchester City v Manchester United and Liverpool v Southampton games.

It will mark the debut United Kingdom broadcast of a short which has already attracted over 40,000 YouTube views on the Google channel since first posted on Monday evening.
