Richhill cemented a top-three finish in Mid-Ulster Intermediate League Section B with a 4-1 win that failed to find top gear.

The Villagers’ impressive progress this season under manager Neil Rowntree was rewarded on Saturday with confirmation of a top-three spot.

Struggling Broomhedge lost out by 4-1 against a Richhill side that lacked overall energy.

An own goal arrived off Richard Morrison’s free-kick delivery then the striker found Neil Lester for a back-post finish.

Broomhedge made it 2-1 but David Ross’ low drive left the hosts in control.

The final goal was scored by Andrew Allen to confirm Richhill’s overall progress this season.
