Loughgall Youth officials have scheduled trials for the club’s under 17s to start on Saturday, June 20.

Sessions are open to boys born in 1999, with a squad entered into the National League for the 2015/16 campaign.

Mark Jackson, Kyle Elder and Mark Gough will serve as the coaching staff - the latter to work with goalkeepers - and Ernie Smyth also has a key role.

The first trial day will run on June 20 and for further information contact Jackson (07732812101), Elder (07753274542), Gough (07856497661) or Smyth (07853233401).

“It is an important age group within the youth development as these kids prepare to get ready for the Loughgall senior set-up,” said Smyth. “During the past season, Loughgall Youth under 17s had five players make senior debuts with the firsts.

“We also had a number of players representing the reserves across the season.

“Our trials start on June 20 and everyone is welcome to contact a member of the coaching team for further information.”
