Portadown-born Duke has returned home after time on the books at Dundee United. John Uprichard scored five against Hanover in the 10-0 win.

Other pre-season scorers were Andrew Devlin, former Portadown teenager Peter Campbell and Francis McCann, the latter familiar from his Annagh United career.

Loughgall have confirmed the signing of Jack Upritchard from Ards on loan. Devlin was previously with Limavady United.

Chris McElroy’s midweek double left Annagh United level against Dollingstown.

Saturday’s date with top-flight Ards finished in a 4-0 reverse.

Loughgall kick off the NIFL Championship on August 16 at home to Lurgan Celtic, with Annagh visiting Ballyclare Comrades.
