Tir na nOg senior ladies enjoyed a winning start to the season with victory over Pearse Og by 2-7 to 0-9.

Pearse Og held the upper hand by four points at the break but head coach Philip McAtamney served up a productive pep talk.

The team’s second test - against St Paul’s - helped Tir na nOg double the win tally with success by 10-6 to 0-3.

Tir na nOg senior men finished down by 2-14 to 1-6 against a physical Madden side.

Madden held an early lead, with a superb point by Brian Mallon offering one rare highlight for Tir na nOg.

The club’s under 10s enjoyed progress into the quarter-finals of a recent Blitz hosted by St Gall’s in Belfast.

Tir na nOg defeated Rossa and St John’s of Belfast across the group stages, with defeat to Fr Rock’s from Cookstown arriving off the game’s final kick.

Tir na nOg lost out across the premier quarter-finals to Bellaghy.

Tir na nOg under 16s met Armagh Harps in a Championship tussle and finished with defeat.

Declan O’Neill, Cathal McGinty and Oran McGuckin produced highlights across the first half but Harps hit two goals in quick succession.

Dylan Hughes, Oran McGuckin and Cathal McGinty were on the second-half scoresheet - with special mention to half back Zion McKernan for his encouraging display.

Tir na nOg B enjoyed a well-earned win over Ballyhegan by 6-7 to 1-2.

Andrew Neeson appeared assured between the posts, James Donnelly was strong in the middle of the field and hard work from both Joe Turley and Joe Curran proved key. Joe Hendron scored three goals.
