McNabb out in front

GOLF JONATHAN McNabb picked up the weekend plaudits at Loughgall following the latest Stableford.

McNabb finished clear by three on Saturday, having wrapped up the course in a two-under-par round.

Willie Turner came home as runner-up on 41 points.

The following players registered ‘twos’: Aaron Agg, Mark Gilpin, Brian Nixon junior and Jonathan McNabb.

In the Team Challenge, Lakeside beat Holt Shield Team by 6.5 to 5.5. The Captain’s Team proved too strong for Holt Shield Select on a 7-5 tally, with Ulster Cup Team defeating Nixon’s Dream Team by 8.4.

Team captains are reminded to notify Barry Rayner of scores as quickly as possible, either via text or phone call.

RAIN disrupted play at Tandragee, with week six of the Johnston Shield postponed until this weekend.
