TANDRAGEE’S second week of play in the Ulster Carpets-sponsored Johnston Shield placed Joe Campbell and Stephen Burns out in front.

A final tally of 34 points left the pairing on top across 12 holes.

Richard Hylands and Alan Hewitt were next in line on 33 points, followed by John Haffey and Stuart Paul courtesy of the countback.

Burns and Campbell now sit on 66 points after two weeks of action, level at the head of the overall standings with Trevor Lovell and Kenny Nixon.

Three pairings sit with 33 points as the leading score - Alan Hewitt and Richard Hylands (62 points), Stuart Paul and John Haffey (61) and James Brannigan and Des Edgar (58).

Colin Hyndes and Neill Hewitt posted 32 points - with Stephen McGarry and John McClean, Peter Crosby and Gerald Mullen, Alan Copeland and William Nummy, David Love and Colin Harney and Graham Harvey and R.Dillon next on the scoreboard.
