College to visit Banbridge in Bowl

Portadown College will visit Banbridge Academy in the Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Bowl.

Other quarter-final ties are Dalriada School v Grosvenor GS, Foyle College v Belfast HS and Rainey Endowed v BRA.

The College hockey side will meet Friends for a chance to tackle Sullivan Upper in the Senior Schools’ Cup semi-finals.

The other last-four match will put the winners of Banbridge Academy v Ballymena Academy against Wallace HS v Ballyclare HS.

Semi-final ties have been scheduled for Lisnagarvey on Wednesday, February 11.

The College football squad recorded a 3-2 win against De La Salle in the Northern Ireland Schools’ Cup.

The under 16s’ reward is a quarter-final game against St Joseph’s of Belfast at Cliftonville’s Solitude.

Jamie Rowland levelled the tie before extra-time goals from Jackson Holmes and Samuel Haugh helped to secure victory.
