Noel Cooke’s consistency around the Loughgall course led to weekend success in the Famous Grouse-sponsored stroke event.

He posted the winning score to edge out Paul Hughes and James Curran.

Stephen Graham put up the leading gross score.

The section winners were as follows:

0-12 - David McAdam; 13-18 - Barry Rayner; 19-plus - David Murray; front nine - Jackson Ruddock; back nine - Stuart Treanor.

Rodney Clarke registered the leading score for seniors.

In the Nutmeg Treasures-sponsored Wednesday Sweep, Alastair Harrison finished first on 17 points.

The weekly challenge - sponsored by Murder Mystery NI - handed Noel Cooke top spot on 46 points, five clear of Evan Simpson.

Stuart Treanor came home third thanks to the countback system.

Ben Currie’s tally of 34 points put him first in the juniors’ 18-hole event - followed home by Daniel Brown’s 29 and Ciaran Foster on 24.

Emmett Lavery posted the only ‘two’ of the event.
