Drumgor have captured a first Armagh Zone Indoor League title since 1981 thanks to results across the penultimate week of play.

Portadown Golf Club will finish the season as Division Two champions in the competitions sponsored by The Stonebridge Brasserie, with Tandragee Golf Club relegated from the top flight.

William Martin edged out Robert Hunter in the Jethro Rinks’ League final by 16-15. William Clinghan suffered a 15-14 tie-end reverse to come home fourth behind Nicky Garvey.

Cheque presentations of £800 apiece were then made to Southern Area Hospice, Alzheimer’s Society and Diabetes UK Northern Ireland.
