Tandragee’s David Hearst was promoted up the Tullyroan Oval placings into top spot across the Lightning Rods final.
Mark Corry crossed the line first but was issued on review with a two-place penalty - with Hearst home as winner in front of Annaghmore’s Mark Taylor.
Feargal McNally from Portadown claimed heat success, with Hearst next home.
Racing will continue at Tullyroan Oval on Sunday from 2 o’clock with the Superstox, Two-Litre Hot Rods, ProStocks, 1300 Stock Cars and Ninja Karts sections on show.
Other class winners were Shane Murray, Denver Grattan, Jonny Cardwell, Andy O’Donnell and Aaron Rainey.
Portadown’s Colin Turkington sits second in the British Touring Car Championship standings despite a frustrating programme at Thruxton.
The defending champion qualified ninth then posted race placings of seventh, fifth and fourth for Team BMR.
He now sits eight points off the overall lead.
