Portadown ladies’ thirds wrapped up a memorable season with silver in the cup final at Stormont.

The Edenvilla Park players dominated play over the Junior League Seven programme to wrap up championship glory with four spare fixtures.

A 17-point margin of victory in the league race left Portadown in control across the marathon of a title campaign.

However, hopes of a trophy double finished in frustration as a penalty stroke left Portadown as runners-up.
