Portadown pull out of youth tournament

Portadown Rugby Club under 18s have been forced to withdraw from the Nutty Krust Floodlit Tournament due to injury.

The Chambers Park teenagers had reached the semi-final, with a tie scheduled against Rainey for Tuesday, April 14.

However, confirmation arrived today (Thursday) of the club’s decision and Ballymena will replace Portadown in the semi-final.

The other semi-final is between Omagh and Dromore on Wednesday, April 15 - with the final at Chambers Park on April 29.
