James Robinson and Stuart McSorley picked up the main prize in Richhill at the recent open pairs tournament organised by St Matthew’s.

The Colthurst Hall event attracted an impressive entry list - with Robinson and McSorley the pick of the field.

Paul Moffett and Andrew Hughes finished as runners-up.

Irish Indoor Bowling Association president Flo McNally also served as tournament organiser.

Special guests included at the trophy presentation were Irish Indoor Bowling Association chairman Harold Massey and the Reverend David Somerville of St Matthew’s.

The platform party also included club chairman Alan Caldwell, vice-chairman Jack McNally, honorary secretary David Burrows and tournament umpire Harry Farmer.

In the Armagh Zone Indoor Bowling League - sponsored by Stonebridge Brasserie - play remains tight at the top of each division, with latest results as follows:
