Keith Walker maintained his consistent form around Carrickblacker with a string of seven birdies on Saturday’s scoreboard.

That superb run included five in a row on the way to victory across the Open Stableford thanks to 43 points off his three handicap.

Gareth Thompson’s tally of 41 points put him runner-up - with Nigel Gilliland edging out Geoff Robinson thanks to the nine-hole countback.

Colin Porter was also on 39 points at the end of the running order.

Stephen Poole picked up the gross prize on 73 and special mention must go to juvenile Luke Bell for 43 points off his 18 handicap to secure a cut and prize.

The Thursday Open Stableford featured Matthew Lavery home as winner on 44 points, with Derek Lewis defeating Shane McDonald across the back-nine scoring after both posted 40.

Paddy Conran’s 39 helped him home inside the top four, with Joel McCrory the leading gross scorer and Dan McKimm in the prizes as top juvenile.

Kenny Guy picked up the main prize in the Wednesday Sweep - sponsored by Portadown Carpet Centre - on 35 points. The section winners were: Craig Black (0-10) 32 points; Ian Lamb (11-14) 31 points; Roderick Joyce (15-18) 32 points; Jim Wright (19-plus) 32 points.

In the Monday Seniors, Don Black won on 31 points. Bill Stewart and Terry Mallon each posted 30 to win, respectively, the low and high section honours.

Dennis McNally was the top veteran.
