Thrilling weekend motocross meeting in Tandragee

THE Tandragee 40 Superpole meeting tomorrow (Saturday) has attracted sponsorship support from Lurgan-based Ervine Fairley.

The Fairley’s Garage owner has stepped in to back the Superpole section of this weekend’s Tandragee 40 Spring Open Motocross meeting.

The North Armagh Motorcycle and Car Club-promoted event at Tandragee Motocross Park will feature leading riders from within the sport across some competitive sections.

The organisers would like to thank Ervine Fairley for his backing.

Entry tomorrow (Saturday) is £5 per adult, with admission free to fans aged under 14 years old.

LAURELVALE’S Gareth Mulligan proved impressive at the Athlone-based Irish Motocross Championship round on Sunday.

He claimed a clean sweep across the Clubman’s MX1 Championship on a Suzuki 250 two-stroke machine owned by Matthew Sinton of Tandragee.

Mulligan’s commanding performance arrived despite having to battle from a deficit in each race and he now sits top of the Ulster Championship.
