TENNIS PORTADOWN Tennis Club officials have appointed Daniel Bennett as the latest head coach - with training sessions scheduled to start next week at Edenvilla Park.

Bennett holds the LTA DCA (Level 3) licence and has worked with leading British and Irish juniors over the past six years.

His playing career featured selection for Elmbridge District and Surrey County.

The junior programme will open under Bennett’s guidance on Monday with daily sessions running until Friday covering the 4-13 year olds across the 2.30-6.30 time range.

Costs work out as follows: 45 minutes (£15 members, £21 non-members); 60 minutes (£20 and £26); 90 minutes (£29 and £35).

Private lessons are also available and adult coaching will feature on a forthcoming agenda.
