Tandragee joy

ATHLETICS TANDRAGEE’S Jasmine McGimpsey finished first in the fun run at a recent Athletics NI-hosted cross-country event for pupils.

Josh Keyes, also from Tandragee, enjoyed a successful event.

Children from primary schools across Craigavon, Armagh, Banbridge and Newry met for the league meeting.

The league has previously attracted interest from over 3,000 young athletes - with sponsorship provided by leading porridge oats producer, Flahavan’s.

Craigavon-based Naomh Beattie (St Anthony’s) won the girls’ section and finals have been scheduled for Wednesday, February 13.
