Full attendance requested for AGM at Edenvilla Park

“The AGM will take place in the clubhouse at Edenvilla Park,” said Portadown’s Lyn Jamison. “We would welcome as many members to attend as possible, to discuss a number of important issues regarding the club.”

On the courts, Portadown players have lined out in recent weeks across the Belfast and District League programme.

The men’s A side have one win in Singles’ League Division One from five appearances.

The 4-0 success arrived over Ballynafeigh - with a 2-2 draw against Donaghadee plus defeats to Hilden, Windsor A and Windsor B.

The men’s B team - based in Division Four - have suffered successive reverse results to Hilden, Larne and Hawarden.

In the ladies’ Singles’ League Division Two, Portadown can point to a 2-1 success over Larne as the main result, alongside defeats to Belfast Boat Club and CIYMS.

Portadown men will line out across Evergreens’ League Division Three from Friday, April 22 at home to Belfast Boat Club.

The competition calendar will also include the start of the Mixed League on May 11 away to Larne.

May’s schedule is set to feature a special Open Day on Saturday, May 7 - with the membership year running from the start of the month.
