Men’s Group – calling all men! (Over 55)

The group meet on the first Wednesday of every month at 10.00am at the West Bann Development Centre and discuss all things manly, take part in activities and plan outings.

Steve McCrudden, Men’s Group Facilitator said that: “The men’s group is great banter, it has provided an opportunity for men in the local area to come together, have tea/coffee and a chat. They also plan a group activity to take part in before the next meeting.”

Steve spoke of the value of the group and recent activities: “The strength of the group is largely down to the members deciding on the activities, speakers and outings. We have found that members return because they have chosen the activities and they are therefore interested in participating in them. The next group meeting will include a talk from Pearl Mahon, Energy Efficiency Officer with Coleraine Borough Council and the planned outing will likely be a Big Breakfast or Steak Night”
