Halloween fun on Carrick’s West Street

Shelly McCord, Child Contact Centre co-ordinator, said: “ We wanted to bring a fun event to West Street that is inclusive for all families and will promote West Street and the businesses on it. During this event we have a range of activities for babies, toddlers and kids (big and small!). Activities include facepainting, arts and crafts, storytelling, Playbus and Sensory Playbus, Laser Tag, walkabout characters and sensory playroom.

"This is our first event but we hope to hold it annually if it is successful. Everything is free and everyone is welcome to come along. Fancy dress is encouraged and we will have lots of sweets and treats for the children.”

The event has been supported by Mid and East Antrim Council, Man With A Van (Raymond Mills), Glenkrag Ltd, Ownies, Mulhollands Funeral Directors, Mencap, NACS, Aisling Lalor Dental - Skin, Brypol and Forest Fitness Ni.
