The 2014 FLL WORLD CLASS challenge saw over 250,000 children ages 9 to 16 from over 80 countries redesigning how we gather knowledge and skills in the 21st century.

16 passionate teams from across Northern Ireland worked with a team coach or STEM Ambassador mentors from sponsoring companies to build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS® to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. The teams also choose and solved a real-world question in the Project with an aim to discover the future of learning.

Dalriada School picked up the Project Presentation award. Team mentors Orla Martin from NIE and teacher Tim Gamble were also there to support the team every unfaltering step of the way.
