Community facilities in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon closed for 4 weeks

Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Council is closing all its community facilities, effective immediately.

The Council has blamed the increase in restrictions due to COVID-19 for the decision as the majority of bookings would not be permitted during the current Lockdown.

In a statement, the Council said: “Due to the impact of Covid-19 restrictions; all Community Facilities will be closed to the public from Monday 11th January for a 4 week period.

“The increase in restrictions has led to the majority of community facilities with no permitted bookings.

“There may be some bookings allowed (Health or Childcare related) for further information on permitted bookings please contact 02838312580 or [email protected].

“This decision will be kept under review in line with government guidelines.”
