Jonathan Buckley appointed to NIA’s Health Committee
Upper Bann MLA Jonathan Buckley has been appointed to the Health Committee at the NI Assembly.
The DUP politician said: “I am pleased to announce I have been appointed to the NI Assembly’s Health Committee.
“In light of the circumstances we have encountered this year I do not underestimate the formidable challenges that lie ahead for our health service and wider society.
“I will use this opportunity to closely examine the work of the Department of Health and to seek transparency on the health and wellbeing of the public.
“I look forward to performing this duty by directly confronting the issues at hand and asking specific and thorough questions, however difficult they may be.”
