Cycling antiques up for sale
Two old Ballymena trophies are included in McAfee Auctions first sale of the new season on Friday, August 14 in their Ballycastle Sale Rooms.
The Red Hand Cycling Club trophy which dates back to 1896 and the Sunlight Prize cup dating back to 1894, together with a gold medal awarded to Archibald Dowling of Ballymena Cycling Club are included in the sale and should draw some local interest.
There will be more than 700 lots of antique and general furnishings, collectibles, paintings, clock, restoration pieces, outdoor effects including a ride on lawnmower and even a Mercedes car!
Viewing commences on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th August from 3.00 – 5.00pm and 7.00 – 8.30pm and day of the sale from 3.30pm. View sale online at mcafeeauctions.com
