The demand for tickets to the brand new Portadown People’s Park Halloween Spooktacular event has been so high the council is releasing more tickets to the general public.
Have your computer, tablet or mobile phone ready to go this Friday (October 23) at 9am for your chance to get your hands on these free tickets by visiting www.portadownpeoplespark.co.uk
The first 2,000 tickets were snapped up in less than 24 hours so the council has decided to put on extra ‘terrifying tours’ so that even more families can enjoy a spine tingling interactive journey around the illuminated park, filled with spooky sounds and scary but friendly characters to entertain all.
There will also be extra tickets for the g magic shows at the amphitheatre where you will hear the horrifying tale of the family Hoffman as they perform enchanting wizardry before your very eyes.
With arts workshops, face painting, balloon modelling and glitter tattoos this will be a night to remember.
A limited number will be available. Tours will start at 5pm and will run every five minutes with the last tour at 9.15pm.
Please note – all access to the park will be closed from 3.30pm to facilitate setup for the Spooktacular event. Access to the event will be permitted via the main gate at Park Road from 4.45pm.
The refurbishment of the park was made possible following Craigavon Borough Council securing £5,469,045 for the SPACE Project from the Special European Programmes Body (SEUPB) PEACE III Priority 2 Contributing to a Shared Society Theme 1 Creating Shared Public Services.
