Put on Christmas coffee morning and help autism fight

The people of Portadown are being urged to join Northern Ireland’s autism charity, Autism NI, this Christmas and hold a ‘Snow Cakes for Autism’ morning.

Christmas is often a very stressful time for the autism community and therefore there is no better time to raise awareness for this ‘hidden disability’.

Autism NI’s marketing and fundraising officer Rachel Gribben said, “Holding a ‘Snow Cakes for Autism’ morning couldn’t be easier – December is a great month to celebrate the festive season, and now you can support a good cause whilst doing so. All you need to do to take part in this awareness raising event is hold a tea/coffee and cakes morning at home, work, school or anywhere you like. Invite your friends, family or work colleagues to join you and ask everyone to make a small donation to support Autism NI.

“We will help you along the way by providing you with a ‘Snow Cakes’ pack.”
