Time to Talk with Patricia Mullholland

THIS week’s Time to Talk is with Lurgan woman Patricia Mullholland.

Last year Patricia travelled across Mongolia on horseback, though this year she’s taking it easy.

37-year-old Patricia runs Over The Moon Designs in Windsor Avenue.

She’s been married to Connor for 10 years.

Her hobbies include horse riding with her horse Star and carriage driving.

What do you like doing on your day off?

Usually spent knee high in muck!!! Either in the veggie garden or at the stables but I always find time for a shopping trip with my mum (also Patricia) on Mondays. She’s a great shopping partner and has the patience of a saint.

What would you do with a million pounds?

I’d buy a house in the country, nothing fancy, just as long as I had enough land to buy a few more horses, dogs, chickens and maybe some goats.

If you could visit any time in history, which would you chose and why?

I’d go back to Victorian days to the time of fancy frocks and afternoon tea. I’ve recently started hiring out vintage china from the shop and will use any excuse to organise a tea party for family and friends. Tea tastes so much better from a china cup.

What is your dream holiday?

I was lucky enough to have my dream holiday when I rode a horse through Mongolia with my friend Gillian. I guess I’m not like most people when it comes to holidays. I don’t like hotels or five star luxury. Some of my best trips have been backpacking across Asia with my hubby.

Slob or clean freak? Why do you say that?

Close to slob, my life is too busy and there are always more exciting things to do than clean.

Your biggest fashion disaster?

I’d say most people would think my entire wardrobe was a fashion disaster. I don’t follow the latest trends and prefer things that are a little bit quirky.

If you ruled the world what would you do first?

I’d make every day Christmas Day.

If you were an animal what would you be and why?

Most definitely a horse. My own in particular as he is very chilled out, eats all day and does very little exercise.
