Moderator To dedicate Hall. The Moderator of the General Assembly (Right Rev. Dr James Dunlop), will visit Londonderry to re-open and dedicate Church House, which is to be the Church Hall of Great James Street Church to provide accommodation for the Sunday Schools, Bible Classes and youth organisations.
City Next For New Development. Londonderry City and district may be next - and in the near future - on the list of areas, which the Minister of Development, Mr William Craig, will be approaching with tentative suggestions for regional development and possibly with a proposal for the setting up of a steering committee to investigate the position.
700 Turkeys For Du Pont Employees. 700 workers at the Du Pont company’s plants at Maydown on the outskirts of Londonderry are each to receive the gift of a 10lb turkey from the company in recognition of outstanding production in November.
