60 years on, tributes paid to ferry disaster victims

A POIGNANT service was held on the shores of Larne on Thursday, January 31 to mark the 60th anniversary of the sinking of the MV Princess Victoria.

The tragedy is considered one the UK’s worst peace time sea disasters, in which 133 lives were lost; 27 of them from the Larne area.
