Appeal after girl (5) injured in crash

The PSNI has appealed for information after a five-year-old girl was injured in a collision.

The girl was riding her bicycle when there was a collision with a car in Dill Avenue, Lurgan on Tuesday (13th April) evening.

Sergeant Meaney said: “Police received a report that a collision had taken place between a silver VW Golf and a bicycle in Dill Avenue some time between 6.10pm and 6.20pm.

“A five-year-old girl, who had been riding the bicycle, sustained a broken elbow and a broken leg in the collision, and was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment.

“Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident, or has dash-cam footage, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 1486 of 13/04/21, or submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.”
