Ballee High School - axe falls
A governor of Ballee High School has lambasted the NEELB and Education John O’Dowd after pupils were told that the school will close in August of 2014.
North Antrim MLA, Robin Swann said pupils were given the news this afternoon (Thursday).
“The timing is poor to say the least,” said Mr. Swann. “No plans are in place for the remaining pupils at the school some of whom are actually going through the trauma of examinations at the moment. Where will they go in September?”
