Ballygally bear photobombs tall ship Europa
Ballygally landmark Bear Rock was given a nautical backdrop on July 1 when a quick-thinking local snapper caught the moment that the tall ship Europa sailed by on camera.
The picture, by Ronnie Ringland, captured the scene as the picturesque Dutch vessel, built in 1911, glided gracefully past Ballygally Bay.
The 54 metre long vessel, nicknamed “Ocean Wanderer”, is taking part in this weekend’s Tall Ship celebrations in Belfast.
