Staff from the Doagh Road plant held their own fundraising activities, including selling Action Cancer diaries and pin badges.

Stacey Graham, Corporate Fundraising Assistant with the charity said: “We are so grateful for this support from the staff at Bombardier. Their donation will help Action Cancer continue to save lives through early detection and support people affected by cancer. The money raised will support Action Cancer’s male cancer awareness campaigns, the only breast screening service available for women outside the NHS, and provide counselling and complementary therapies to families affected by a cancer diagnosis. We would like to thank the staff at Bombardier for their hard work and everyone who has supported their fundraising.”

Action Cancer relies heavily on donations from the public and business communities in Northern Ireland to provide a range of vital, life-saving services including a breast screening service for women aged 40-49 and 70+, men’s MOT health checks, health promotion, research, counselling and complementary therapies.
