Burglary attempts on two houses

Police are investigating two attempted burglaries in Portadown.

Some time between 8.50am and 5.45pm on Saturday, December 6, the front door of a house in Thomas Street was forced open. It is believed the house was entered but nothing was taken.

Entry was also forced to the front door of a house in Carleton Street around 7pm the same day. The intruder became aware of the occupant in the house and made off on foot towards Church Street.
