Cannabis seized in Heights: man charged

The seizure was made on Friday by officers on bicycle patrol.

Sergeant Robert Ennis said: “Officers were out cycling in the area when they detected a strong smell of cannabis at around 6:30pm.

“A search was carried out, and around £900 worth of herbal cannabis, along with drugs paraphernalia including scales and bags were seized.

“One man has since been charged with possession on class B drugs with intent to supply.”
