A Portadown cleaning product and equipment supplier has opened a new centre and is taking on two more staff in an investment worth £50,000.

Craigmore Industrial and Engineering Solutions has just completed a deal which will see the family-run business become the largest Karcher Centre in Ireland, and the main dealer in Northern Ireland.

The Carn-based business currently employs 13 staff, and throughout its 25-year history has sold equipment such as power washers, tools and cleaning products to the trade and public.

The 200-sq metre Karcher Centre will complement the existing business and will stock a complete range of Karcher equipment and accessories, with trained staff in store alongside a range of demonstration equipment.

Geoff Baird, managing director of Craigmore, said the Karcher Centre is a milestone in the company’s history. “We have been a Karcher dealer for 23 years, and throughout that time, we have worked very closely with this cutting-edge, worldwide leader in cleaning technology, who consistently offer top-class performance and innovative products and training, which have always met both our own, and our customers’ needs fully,” he said.

“The new centre means that we will extend our product offering to include a full range of industrial pressure washers, vacuums, sweepers and scrubber driers as well as home and garden range of pressure washers, window vacuums and steamers, and all of the accessories.”
