Carrick summer schemes get under way

A number of summer schemes are to commence in the Carrick area in the coming weeks, the Education Authority has said.

This year a total of 40 summer schemes are being funded by the North Eastern region’s Youth Department and will operate for four hours each day between 15 July and 31 July.

Twenty one of these schemes will be delivered directly by the North Eastern region, while nineteen are being supported by the Education Authority and delivered by local voluntary and community groups.

Schemes within the Carrickfergus area are as follows:
