The court heard that police were carrying out an investigation at Carrigart Crescent on November 19 last year when they saw the defendant driving a car.
She admitted she did not have a licence or insurance or that she had permission to drive the car.
Mr Peter Murphy, representing the defendant, said that her son’s car had been parked outside the house when she was contacted by her aunt who needed a brace which she wore on her back.
He added that Ferris made a stupid decision to drive the car to take the brace to her aunt.
