Caught urinating at shop

A Lurgan man currently serving a prison sentence was given a one month concurrent term last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.

Dean Robert Currie (34), Russell Drive, Lurgan, appeared in court by way of videolink from Maghaberry prison.

He admitted indecent behaviour in Market Street, Lurgan, on May 5 this year. The court heard he was seen urinating in a doorway of a shop.

A solicitor representing Currie said that on the Monday before last week’s court he had appealed against a custodial sentence but that appeal had been dismissed. He was currently serving a three month term.

Currie was sentenced to one month in prison, to run concurrently with his present sentence.
