“I welcome the news that the police and council have responded resulting in re-deployable CCTV cameras being erected in the village and following the increased presence of police in Moneymore at the weekend, a successful drug seizure was the result of a vehicle search carried out by police.
“These are all welcome measures, but I would still encourage vigilance by both local residents and business owners alike and again please don’t hesitate to contact the police should you witness any suspicious behaviour in the area.”
