At 12-30pm a special mid summer’s carnival parade will make its way through Coleraine, with some very exciting carnival pieces and up to 150 children from the local schools and Girl Guide fraternity being involved.

The afternoon continues with live music in the town centre and the opportunity to visit, ‘The Project of Plantation’ exhibition, in Coleraine Town Hall. The festival day comes to a close at Christie Park with a live concert, children’s street theatre and a fireworks extravaganza over the River Bann to mark what took place 400 years ago and how the Borough has changed during the 400 years, establishing the town and Borough of Coleraine as we know it today.
